1902 TRAVEL POSTER & INFOGRAPHIC

This conceptual project explored visual communication through the design of two travel posters centered on the year 1902. The goal was to spark interest in the era by highlighting key cultural moments, while authentically capturing the visual style of the time through historically inspired design techniques.
The process began with in-depth research into the year 1902, focusing on its cultural and artistic context. Inspired by Art Nouveau and early lithographic poster design, I created one poster capturing the cinematic wonder of Le Voyage dans la Lune and a second infographic highlighting three influential architects and their landmark buildings. Both pieces feature hand lettering and bold graphic illustration, combining historical accuracy with a visually engaging approach for contemporary viewers.
The final outcome consists of two visually cohesive, historically informed posters that serve as both educational tools and artistic tributes to the year 1902. Each design captures the spirit of the era by celebrating the wonder of early cinema and the evolution of architectural thought. Together, they create a thoughtful connection between the past and present through period-inspired visuals.
